Problem
The existing product is more or less a static repertoire of the different elements of an event (e.g., a list of exhibitors, a list of sessions, a list of products, etc.) that doesn’t engage users. Attendees and exhibitors are isolated and left on their own to navigate large events.
Solution
Shift the focus of the product from organizers to an end-user centric approach. Introduce tools and features to customize their experience and guide them through their journey at the event. Add social elements to promote interactions and create a self-sustained community.
